White space absorbs the meeting that runs over, the task that needs another pass and the day when concentration arrives slowly. Without it, ordinary variation becomes a scheduling failure and every delay pushes pressure into the next commitment.
Try this today: Protect one unscheduled block this week for spillover, thinking or recovery.
Keep in mind: Space is part of a workable plan, not proof that the plan is incomplete.
