Daily Focus – Day 265: Remove the False Deadline
Part of Daily Focus: 365 Practical Notes for Solo and Small Business Owners.
Urgency copied from a campaign template can contradict the actual offer.
A deadline should describe what actually changes when time ends: price, availability, access or support. If nothing changes, replace urgency with a clear reason the offer may be useful now and allow readers to decide without manufactured consequence.
Try this today: Delete any deadline that is not tied to a real change.
Keep in mind: Readers remember pressure that turns out to be meaningless.
