Navigation grows until every page competes for permanent visibility.

The main menu should represent the site’s primary destinations and the visitor’s mental map. Move supporting pages into relevant sections or the footer, leaving enough choices to orient without turning navigation into a second content archive.

Try this today: Remove, group or relocate one item that does not belong in the main menu.

Keep in mind: A menu should orient visitors, not display the entire archive.
