Part of Daily Focus: 365 Practical Notes for Solo and Small Business Owners.

Large promises create distance when the customer cannot see the path between purchase and result.

Explain what the customer will receive, what they will do with it and how that action supports the result. The path does not need to sound dramatic; seeing the mechanism is what allows a careful buyer to believe the promise.

Try this today: Describe the practical mechanism through which the offer helps.

Keep in mind: Believability comes from a clear path, not more intense adjectives.
