Daily Focus – Day 102: Learn From a Refund
Part of Daily Focus: 365 Practical Notes for Solo and Small Business Owners.
A refund or cancellation can reveal fit, expectation or delivery problems without defining the whole offer.
A refund may reflect personal circumstances, poor fit or a genuine weakness in the offer. Recording the reason without defensiveness helps you avoid redesigning around one exception while still noticing when several experiences point to the same preventable problem.
Try this today: Record the reason neutrally and decide whether it represents a pattern or an exception.
Keep in mind: One event is information; several similar events may be evidence.
